Abbye has had interest for the beauty industry as long as she can remember. She started her career at The Temple: A Paul Mitchell Partner School in Frederick, MD and graduated in February 2018. Abbye is always interested in furthering her education and keeping up with current trends. Her passion is balayage, hairpainting and blonding of all kind. Abbye’s goal is making sure every client that sits in her chair leaves feeling their absolute best!
Becky started pursuing her career in the beauty industry in 2015 by attending The Temple: A Paul Mitchell Partner School in Frederick, MD. She completed our training program and started full time as a stylist shortly after. Becky has highly developed skills with blondes and is extremely proficient with fashion colors. She draws inspiration from fashion and beauty trends and is constantly striving to learn and perfect her skills.
Ashley graduated in 2009 from Pulse Beauty Academy: A Paul Mitchell School in Downington, PA. She loves all aspects of cutting and coloring hair but mostly specializes in textured, short cuts. When it comes to color, she is passionate for natural looking blondes, highlights, and hair painting. She is a certified OWAY's ammonia free color line stylist and has taken razor cutting classes with Geno Chapman and an Unhinged class with Dusty Rhodes. She is always looking to learn new techniques but also loves putting her own twist on classic styles.
Asu has been a licensed hairstylist for 12 years, working in many parts of Maryland including Columbia, Rockville and most recently Clarksville. She specializes in both women's and men's haircuts as well as many types of chemical treatments, but is strongly passionate about highlight services. Asu is fabulous working with curly hair and does an amazing blow dry. She is certified in Brazilian Blow Outs, Keratin treatments and eyebrow threading, which sets her apart from the rest of the V&A staff. Asu has a wide variety of skills and is always willing to attend education classes to improve her many current skills as well as learn new in order to accommodate many different clients!
Cori started with Victoria and Albert as a stylist assistant in 2004, and decided to further her education by attending barbering school at The Fila Academy: A Paul Mitchell Partner School in Baltimore, MD. In 2007, Cori completed our training program and started full time as a stylist shortly after. She has attended numerous classes with Alfaparf and L'Oreal and received her Design Certification with Redken in 2010. Cori loves to create new and modern looks that will best suit your personality and lifestyle. With her continuing devotion to putting a smile on her client's faces, you are certain to enjoy your visit with Cori. Rest assured, you will leave looking great and feeling refreshed!
Jill has been a licensed hairstylist for over 22 years working in many parts of DC, Bethesda MD, and most recently in Howard County MD. Specializing in color and hilighting services, Women’s and Men’s Razor and Scissor cuts. Jill is exceptional in maximizing the beauty of fine and thinner textured hair types.
Kate is an award-winning stylist with over 20 years experience in the industry. Her true passion and appreciation for the latest trends in hair and fashion are evident in the styles she creates. Throughout her career, she has maintained a focus on professional growth and development and has successfully completed educational programs sponsored by the Redken Exchange, Bumble & Bumble Academy, AlfaParf and J. Beverly Hills. Her enthusiasm for the business and her genuine commitment to delivering excellent customer service has awarded her with loyal clients and long-lasting relationships.
Kristin graduated in 2011 from the Aveda Institute in DC and continued her education by attending several advanced color classes such as Color Solutions, Advanced Blonding, and Advanced Color Techniques with Global Artistic Director, Ian Michael Black, and became a certified OWAY’s ammonia free color line hairstylist along the way. She has also taken advanced cutting classes such as Razor Cutting with Geno Chapman, a well-known hairdresser from the Style Networks 'How Do I Look?' television series. Despite not being a blonde herself, her true passion is working with blonding transformations although she also specializes in balayage, color corrections and fashion colors as well as Organic Way scalp and Brazilian Blowout treatments.
Throughout her time in the industry, Mary Anne studied at the Aveda Advanced Academy in New York and has continued to expand her knowledge and experience. In the past, she has worked with Aveda and the Jon Reyman team during New York Fashion Week, Runway & Editorial Styling, Core Cutting with Ricardo Dinis, The Collection Experience with Ian Michale Black and Allen Ruiz and Unhinged with Dusty Rhode. She also attended the Vidal Sassoon Academy in South Beach where she learned the wide range of Vidal’s cutting techniques. She also donates her time to several charitable organizations including the Red Pump Ball which she founded in 2007 to raise money for the Cardiology Department of Upper Chesapeake Hospital.
Melissa has been with V&A since 2005. Starting her career in 1998, Melissa has had the experiences of training from Bumble and Bumble, Redken, Nioxin, Paul Mitchell and Aveda. Melissa is highly educated in every component and specializes in all coloring, cutting and naturally curly hair. Having completed advanced technical training with TIGI in Dallas, Melissa's level of experience is remarkable. Specializing in all coloring, cutting and naturally curly hair, Melissa is a valued addition to the V&A team.

Wan started with Victoria & Albert as a stylist assistant in 1991. Pursuing her career in 2001, Wan went to an apprenticeship at Natural Nails to receive her nail technician license. She returned to Victoria & Albert in 2005 working as our natural nail specialist using OPI and Essie products. She also offers the shellac by CND which is unique in the way that it has the lasting effect of gel and acrylic polishes but doesn't leave the damage commonly associated with them. Any service you receive from Wan is expertly done, from her foot massage during a pedicure and nail shaping to her polishing. Wan will have your nails looking great and keep a smile on your face.
